VISION: To be the first choice and best foundation for service delivery and information conveyers while becoming a brand of choice among the people we offer assistance to on the entire African continent.
MISSION: The Darlington Steve Foundation is dedicated to enriching lives and improving efficiency through a better-connected world. We aim to train, empower and uplift Africans all over Africa to promote unity, peace and excellence through our various subsidiaries.
WHO WE ARE
Darlington Steve Foundation is a team from various fields each with a track record of success, sharing regard and concern for the African people, with core focus on women and child development, African Migrant integration and Social cohesion.
Most migrants face loneliness because of the desire to look for greener pastures and with this intent, they travel to distant countries e.g. South Africa, Libya, Angola, and other part of the world for better opportunities and are met serious segregation and separation. We have also noted with the time how women struggle at home, family and work place, and simple day to day living.
Darlington Steve Foundation seeks to reach out to larger audiences both young and old and act as a catalyst to bridge the gap between generations and ensure a respectful and comfortable life for everyone. Darlington Steve Foundation interacts with every person at all levels in the community.
The Darlington Steve Foundation endeavours to help the lives of Africans by creating opportunities through education, training, support services, social economic cohesion programmes and enterprise development. We want to meet the needs that will help develop our society, address issues in the community and provide adequate assistance to them. Our main core is all about serving the people: the homeless, the sick, widows, orphans and the hungry.
The Foundation was formerly known as Darlington Steve Consulting Services, which was established in 2016 by DS Dexterity International founder, Darlington Steve aka Omeiza Steve Saint John. Omeiza Steve Saint John is an entrepreneur who was born and raised in Nigeria. He was driven to establish a foundation that gives Africans and African migrants and young people access to a quality life, access to opportunities and an education to help build a strong foundation for their future.
On 14th of May 2018, the Foundation changed its name to the Darlington Steve Foundation. The Darlington Steve Foundation remains a partner of choice for social cohesion change through implementation of these 7 projects such as;
- Women & Girl Child Initiatives & Programmes
- Sanitary Towels & Underwear
- Water (Dig A Well) Initiatives
- Old Age Support
- Toilet & Sanitation Funds
- Refugee & Diaspora Support
- Village Empowerment Initiatives
The Darlington Steve Foundation is committed to attending to the neglected issues in our societies that have overtime, eroded our sense of identity. By promoting social cohesion, focusing more on creating opportunities and innovation, it aims to attract global recognition and patronage necessary for sociocultural and socioeconomic advancement in the lives of our youth and women. It is our commitment to see that everyone is treated equally and has a fair share opportunity presented to them.
Darlington Steve Foundation will provide opportunities for growth and development for the youth and women through entrepreneurship development, vocational training, career building and networking. The Foundation aims to position South Africa and Darlington Steve Foundation as a place of opportunity for youth and other groups. This we believe is critical in addressing the migration of youths from Africa to other cities and nations further limiting the potentials of the state in many areas and the continent at large. Africa is in need of experts in all sectors but if we don’t stand strong and enhance our people, our continent will be a dumping ground for other continents.
Darlington Steve Foundation will focus strongly on sustaining her initiatives through a rigorous system of monitoring and evaluation that will ensure that value for money is attained and at the same time efforts are producing the desired results. We are not just here to spend the funders’ money but to be accountable for every cent spent. We have developed measures to which all projects will be guided and carried out.
The Darlington Steve Foundation provides impactful partnership opportunities for individuals and organizations in the area of arts, culture, entrepreneurship, skills acquisition and other social and economic areas. The Foundation is seeking for organizations that will provide support for our programmes and trainees.
The Darlington Steve Foundation (DSF) Centre for Entrepreneurship Development & Skill Acquisition (Darlington Steve Institute) will begin its flagship project the “FREE RADIO TRAINING FOR WOMEN” on August 10th 2018 from 4pm – 7pm.With a total of 15 students admitted for the sessions in five (5) areas of skills acquisition and enterprise education, they are namely:
