One Rand Project
Platform Cares believes in giving back and we have a community project called Platform Community Reconstruction Program (PCRP) also known as The One Rand Project.
This is the arm of the church that focuses on empowerment by creating conducive and practical solution for the people. Providing systems of impact in our community by deliberately meeting the social economical needs such as school fees, good health care, clean road, food, sanitation etc. is also an evangelical approach for the church.
We will visit prisons or Reconstruction Centre’s and tries to facilitate uniting those who haven’t been visited or abandoned with their families. With the help of government institutions, we will find ways to practically assist support the individuals so to get them to a more conducive place in their lives. This will help the church position to be a solution driven church as we preach the gospel to the lost, heal the broken heart and set captive free by delivering them from all oppression of the devil.
Access to safe water and sanitation can quickly turn problems into potential – unlocking education, work opportunities, and improved health for women, children and families across the world. Millions of people living in the poorest areas of Africa have no source of clean water. Often, they walk miles just to fill a bucket with dirty water from a pool sullied by animal waste and infected with disease.
Platform Cares is appealing for your support by assisting in digging wells and providing clean access to water to the needy. We have discovered some local community in Gauteng, Eastern Cape & Limpopo Provinces where access to clean water is impossible.
You can transform lives of families around the entire African continent. Every single penny will help bring clean water to communities in need.
Providing water in this way is a very good way of offering a continuous charity as the donor can expect to reap a blessing for as long as the well supplies water.
Your donations to Platform Cares General Water Fund will allow us to continue to help people gain access to safe, clean drinking water and sanitation services. Your support will bring relief to families and allow them to protect themselves against waterborne diseases such as diarrhea, cholera and typhoid.
