Become A Vounteer

Our volunteers are amazing people who provide essential support in our programmes, events and offices throughout South Africa and of course you’ll be playing a vital role in helping us to save lives, build an environment that is habitable for all.

We have various forms of volunteering from mentoring, training, support structures, spirituality etc. You can call the office on +27113261161 or email for more information and clarification.

We value the support of every single volunteer. Without them, it wouldn’t be possible to achieve the outcomes that we have for Women and the Youth in South Africa and Africa as a whole.

Volunteering is a great way to meet lots of new people, understand different nationalities, lifestyles, cultures, values and become a vital part of a community committed to saving and preserving the life of African lives.

It’s also a good way to improve your career prospects. Through training, guidance and employee support, the Darlington Steve Foundation supports all of our volunteers.

Complete our online application form to register your interest with us. We will keep your details on record and contact you if anything suitable comes up.  Positions change frequently, so this is certainly worth doing.

Donations of any amount are received with gratitude – every cent makes a difference and will be put to good use to ensure Darlington Steve Foundation takes care of the people.

Have you ever thought of asking friends and family to donate to Darlington Steve Foundation instead of buying gifts for your birthday or anniversary? Or perhaps you’re planning to run a marathon, participate in a cycle race or climb Kilimanjaro. Why not use the opportunity to raise funds for any of the CAUSES on Darlington Steve Foundation who can’t even do anything without your assistance? It’s easy to fundraise for us and you don’t have to handle any cash yourself. How to do this?

Why not put your passion for sporting events to work and raise funds for water & Sanitation, Sanitary Towels/Underwear, elderly people in need of care and shelter, Refugee Support, Village Empowerment or any of our projects.

If you’re running a marathon, climbing a mountain, or cycling in a race, why not set up a fundraising page on or and get friends and business colleagues to sponsor you every step, or kilometer, of the way.

Adrenaline junkies – why not get friends to make donations in honor of your next bungee jump or skydive?

If you’re not into sport, you can still raise funds by asking friends and family to donate to Darlington Steve Foundation rather than buy you gifts for your birthday, wedding or anniversary.

Donations of goods or services are always greatly appreciated. In particular, we are always in need of non-perishable foodstuffs, toiletries and cleaning products, office supplies, bed and table linen, paint, garden tools, etc for our homes. Second hand items – such as clothing, jewellery, kitchen appliances and furniture – can be sold at any pawn shop to help raise much needed funds for Darlington Steve Foundation.

You can send your goods to our office which is on 372 oak Avenue Office Park Randburg or you can call our office and we will get one of our volunteers to arrange collection at your preferred location.

Whoever you are and however much time you have, we need you! Darlington Steve Foundation needs you to join us in whatever time you have to be a blessing to some of our projects.

Our volunteers deliver meals, visit or phone migrant communities and elderly people, assist with games, shows and outings, sort donations from second hand shops, assist with admin and fundraising tasks, etc. Enjoy friendly camaraderie and the satisfaction of knowing you’re making a difference in the lives of Darlington Steve Foundation people. For more information, please call our volunteer coordinator at 011 326 1161.
